Charles Calvin Cardwell Jr.

    Charles Calvin “Butch” Cardwell Jr. of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, formerly of Dayton, died Wednesday December 1, 2010 at his home.

    He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam Conflict.

    He was preceded in death by son Chris Cardwell and parents Charles Calvin Sr. and Norma Cardwell.

    Survivors include siblings Lola Cardwell, Roger (Diana) Cardwell, David (Lisa) Cardwell, Patty (Keith) VanHorn all of Pennsylvania, Lorna (Richard) Dickman, Judy (Larry) Childs of Michigan, Deborah (Grady) Swafford, Mary (Ken) Caldwell, Ramona Bardonnex all of Pikeville and several nieces and nephews.

    Services were held December 4 in Pennsylvania.
