Ernest M. Pendergrass

Ernest M.  Pendergrass 76, of Pikeville passed away on July15, 2010.

Pendergrass was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents Willos and Stella Pendergrass; brother John Pendergrass; and sister, Francis Cox.

He is survived by a brother, Oral Pendergrass of Pikeville; sister Wilma Quarles of Harrison; step-son, Oliver Smith; grandson, Oliver “Lil’ O” Smith; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

Services were held July 18 in funeral home chapel with Ronny Colvard officiating. Burial was in Pendergrass Cemetery with full military honors.
