Wayne June Reagan
Wayne June Reagan, 87 of Pikeville died Saturday, July 10, 2010. He was an Army Veteran serving in WWII in the 272 Field Artillery Battalion, where he received the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with four bronze stars, the Good Conduct Medal, and WWII Victory Medal.
Reagan was of the Baptist faith and attended Sampson Freewill Baptist and Calvary Freewill Baptist.
Preceding him in death were his parents Minyard and Hettie Reagan; brothers Paul and Frank Reagan; and special friend Rose Hall.
Survivors include wife Lucille Reagan; daughters Deborah (Dale) Burgess and Brenda Reagan; son Randy Reagan all of Pikeville; grandchildren Sybil (Jonathan) Baker, Bridget (Jason) Cunningham, Brandon Burgess, Jonathan Reagan, and Misty Pettit; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Louise Patterson of Pikeville; Agnes Oakes of Pikeville, and Mary (Carl) Wilson of McMinn-ville; brother Jake (Gladys) Reagan of Pikeville; Billy (Margie) Reagan of Hixson.
Services were held July 12 in the funeral home chapel with burial following in Blankenship Cemetery.
