Carter Leon Gaydon

Carter Leon Gaydon, 78, of Pikeville passed away on Tuesday,June 22, 2010 at an area hospital. Carter was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in deathby his parents, Thomas and Rosa Gaydon; eight brothers; and four sisters.

He is survived by hissons, Donald (Karen) Gaydon, Bobby Gene Gaydon, Carter Leon Gaydon, all ofPikeville, and John Wayne Gaydon of Dawsonville, Georgia; and ten grandchildrenand nine great-grand-children.

Services will be held inthe funeral home chapel at 5 p.m. on Thursday June 25, 2010 with Bro. BillWolfe officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m. untilservice time.
