Tommy Ferguson and Iris Ann Ferguson

    Tommy Ferguson, 75, and Iris Ann Ferguson, 74, of Pikeville died Monday, August 17, 2009. They were of the Baptist faith.

    They were preceded in death by a daughter Sherill Kay Ferguson; their grandchildren Norma Jean Ferguson and Thomas Lee Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Lizzie Ferguson and three brothers Riley, Claude and William Ferguson. Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Novella Campbell; three brothers Ted, Creel and James Campbell; and one sister Carrie Walker.

    They are survived by one daughter Mary (Douglas) Campbell of Pikeville; three sons Waymon (Imogene) Ferguson and Tommy Lee Ferguson, Jr., both of Pikeville, and Rocky (Carolyn) Ferguson of Summerville, Georgia; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mr. Ferguson is survived by two sisters Mary Ruth Campbell of Pikeville and Sue Lawson of Crossville. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by two brothers Connie (Martha) Campbell and Darvin (Jeanette) Campbell, both of Pikeville; and four sisters Marie (Kenneth) Eller and Lelia (Howard) Sutherland both of Pikeville, Margaret Davidson of Crossville, and Betsy Collins of Evansville, Indiana.

    Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery.

    Visitation was Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time for the funeral.
