Bernice Ledford

    Bernice Pearson Ledford, 71, of Crossville passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at her home. She was born on November 4, 1937 in Pikeville to Ellis Pearson and Velma A. (Smith) Pearson. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
    Pearson was preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Velma Pearson.
    She is survived by sons Creed Hooks of Florida and Michael Parolini of Crossville; daughters Tina Hooks of Crossville, Debra (Douglas) Griffiths of Arkansas; grandchildren Benjamin and Hannah Jackson, Ciera Handler, Timothy, Daniel and Christin Hooks; brother James “Dad” Pearson of Florida; sisters Betty Harris of Mississippi, Veronica Bartell of Crossville, and Wilma Smith of Florida.
    A graveside service will be held at McDowell Cemetery in Pikeville on Saturday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m.
    Arrangements were made by Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville.
