Mary Sue Eason

    Mary Sue Spears Eason, 90, died Monday, March 23, 2009 in Pikeville. She and her husband Hubert Eason owned and operated cloud Springs Nursery from 1960 until his death in 2003.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, William D. Spears and Mary E. Spears; brothers William D. Spears, Jr. and Lynn D. Spears; husband Hubert Eason; and son-in-law Norman D. White.
    Survivors include her sis-ter, Mildred Broome of Chattanooga; children John D. (Carolyn) Eason of Pikeville, and Mary E. White of Hixson; grandchildren Lisa S. Bales of Ringgold, Georgia, Sara K. White of Hixson, and Matthew D. Eason of Ringgold; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    She was loved by everyone for her kind heart and quick wit. She handled all the hardship life allotted her with grace, determination and faith. She is resting in the arms of Jesus, yet will be missed by all who knew her. Her move to Pikeville was a wonderful experience for her as she met so many kind people.
