On Saturday, April 1 Winesap Free Will Baptist Church will open its clothes closet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The clothes closet will be open every first and third Saturday of each month until further notice. Anyone needing clothes or who knows someone who does can come by at this time. The Sequatchie Valley Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will hold its monthly meeting on April 29 at Swafford’s Chapel at 10:00 am. The annual Rabies Clinic for Bledsoe County is Saturday, April 29, at two locations: Pikeville Elementary from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and Mary V. Wheeler Elementary from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. The cost is $12 for the vaccination. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in carriers.
