The majority of cases in Bledsoe County General Sessions Court on July 6 were traffic violations. General Sessions Judge Howard Upchurch ordered fines in many of the cases presented that day.

Freddy Deleon of Pikeville was fined $350 plus court costs for driving under the influence (DUI), first offense. He has to serve 48 hours of an 11-monh, 29-day sentence in jail and pay his fine and court fee by October 4. His driving privileges were suspended for one year. His charges of improper passing and driving without a license were dismissed.

A $350 fine and court costs were assessed Johnny Cole Milliron, of Pikeville for DUI, first offense. He must serve 48 hours in jail of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, and pay his fine and costs by October 4. The judge suspended his driving privileges for one year.

Multiple worthless checks charges were heard against Angela Rose Evitt of Pikeville. She was ordered to pay $60 on the 23rd of each month until the three worthless checks and fees are paid in full.

Jeffrey Randall Brock, of Pikeville, was fined $20 for a seatbelt violation.

Jordan Chase Brown’s speeding and financial responsibility law violation were continued 180. If he has no further violations during that time, his charges are to be dismissed.

Ordered to pay a $40 fine for not changing his address within the required ten days was John Steven Clark of Pikeville. His charges of registration expired and financial responsibility law were dismissed.

Thomas M. Davis, of Pikeville, was given until September 7 to pay his $2 fine and court costs for speeding and driving while license suspended.

A $20 fine has to be paid by Shamus E. Decker, of Pikeville for a seatbelt violation. His charge of drivers license to be carried or exhibited was dismissed.

Kimberly Loreadith Dickey, of Pikeville, was fined a total of $80 for a seatbelt violation and financial responsibility law charge. She is to pay by August 2.

Speeding charges against two different defendants, Jennifer Lynn Dodd and Judy L. Duffey, were continued 180 days. If they have no further violations, their charges are to be dismissed.

Lisa Mae Gore, of Pikeville, faced multiple traffic violations including two counts of drivers license to be carried or exhibited, seatbelt violation, financial responsibility law, speeding, and registration expired. She was fined $20 for the seatbelt violation, $2 for speeding, and $40 financial responsibility law plus ordered to pay court costs. Her other charges were dismissed.

Lashay Sharell Harvey, of Dunlap, faced a speeding charge, which was continued 180 days. If she has no further violations, her charge is to be dismissed.

Robert Dean Leeper, of Pikeville, was fined $20 for a seatbelt law violation. His charge of financial responsibility law was dismissed.

Stephanie Lewis, of Spencer, was fined $20 for a seatbelt law violation. Her drivers license to be carried or exhibited violation was dismissed.

David Colton McMillen, of Pikeville, was given until August 2 to pay his court costs for a window tint violation.

A $20 fine was assessed Joan Mary Mellor, of Spring City, for a seatbelt violation. Her charge of registration expired was dismissed.

Robert Myers, of Spring City, was fined $2 plus court costs for obedience to required traffic control device charge. He was given until August 2 to have it all paid.

Benjamin Lane Reece, of Pikeville, was fined $20 for a seatbelt violation and $10 plus court costs for an open container charge to be paid by October 4. Charges of light law and financial responsibility law were dismissed against him.

Billie Joe Reed, of Pikeville, was ordered to pay $40 plus attended defensive driving school. His financial responsibility law violation was dismissed.

Benjamin Raymond Ritchie, of Soddy Daisy, charge of speeding was continued 180 days. If he has no further violations, his charge is to be dismissed.

A seatbelt violation against Trampus Dylan Thomas, of Dayton, was continued 180 days. During that time, if he does not violate any laws, his charge is to be dismissed.

Charles Logan Walling, of Pikeville, was fined $20 plus court costs for a seatbelt violation. The judge dismissed his charges of registration expired and financial responsibility law.

George A. Yost, of Bone Cave, was fined $20 for a seatbelt violation. His financial responsibility law violation was dismissed.

A $50 fine was assessed Claudia Susette, of Pikeville, for reckless driving. She also has to pay court costs, with all to be paid by July 23. She originally was charged with DUI, first offense.

Lauren Dial’s probation violation charge was transferred from General Sessions Court to Circuit Court.

Mitchell Cody Dickey, of Pikeville, was charged with domestic assault. The charge was dismissed but he was ordered to pay the clerk’s fee by August 2.

Jennifer Lynn Musgrave, of Pikeville, was ordered to pay $20 for violating the child restraint device law. It was noted, Musgrave now has her license and has to pay a $40 clerk’s fee.

Among the cases dismissed were charges of registration expired, window tint, financial responsibility law, Tennessee license – 30 day residency, unlawful unregistered vehicle on highway, implied consent, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.
