Taft not included in Governor's budget

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam delivered his State of the State address Monday evening, January 30 plus he revealed his 2012-13 proposed budget which includes the closure of Taft Youth Development Center in Bledsoe County.


Probation is revoked for Brown

Brenda Brown, of Bledsoe County, was transported to a maximum security prison in Nashville on Monday, January 30, not for her part in the murders of two elderly women, but for violating her parole for prior burglary and theft charges. 


Smith faces drug charges
